Rubina Halwani is an award-winning Training and Inclusion Consultant and public speaker. Her career spans over 20 years, with experience in government, education, corporate, business, and nonprofit.
Rubina works as an Instructional Designer for the State of Utah, developing mental health and substance abuse training and education for providers and the public.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Education from the University of Maryland and later obtained her Master's degree in Educational Policy and Leadership Studies from the University of Iowa.
Born in Maryland, Rubina is a second-generation Muslim-American of Indo-Pakistani heritage. Seeking to combat Anti-Muslim hate, Rubina serves on the Board of Muslim Americans in Public Policy (MAPS) National, a non-profit organization formed in response to President Biden’s Executive Order on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility in the Federal Workforce .
